Aquamarine Asd follows the eco-sustainable philosophy in all the activities it proposes, spreading an ECO-FRIENDLY lifestyle for the sea and the surrounding environment.
The association is opposed to the tendency that often imposes a certain adaptability, which clashes with the need to exploit everything, immediately and in excessive quantities, due to the deterioration of our world. While scientific advances in the field of ecology are enormous, changing one's habits in this sense is not always easy.
The meeting with the SEA gives rise to one of the greatest emotions that man can experience in the presence of nature, the environment that most inspires respect and water, which from the unconscious point of view recalls the mother's womb and our birth
Living green means taking all the measures that are needed to pollute less, to avoid waste that not only saves us, but decreases our amount of "pollution" that inevitably spills on the planet .--
Eco-friendly means being friends of nature and doing what is in our power, even if in our small way, to pollute less. It is not difficult and also really leads to economic feedback. Some thought that living green is more expensive and therefore they exclude it, but it does not necessarily have to be true.
Eco-friendly and green living are terms that come from English, used a lot beyond the ocean to identify a specific lifestyle, closer to nature than to the industrial sector.
By protecting nature, we protect ourselves from the effects of pollution and especially future generations: our children and our children. These practices are more and more aware today. Many people have understood not only the utility, but also the need. There is a need to reduce the impact that man has on the environment and on nature.
Our mission is therefore to spread the responsibility, the culture of love and understanding towards that of which man is not a guest, but of which he is part: Nature.
SOME RULES to RESPECT and NOT POLLUTE THE SEA:
1. Use sunscreens that do not pollute
For a day at the beach you can not miss a sunscreen to protect yourself from the damage of UVA, UVB and IR rays, but it is very important to choose a product that does not pollute the sea. In the market it is always easier to find organic and eco-friendly creams, which do not use chemical sunscreens that are highly toxic to the sea and its organisms.
2. Zero waste
Bringing bags to collect wrappers and packaging is essential to keep the beach clean. Furthermore, it is even better to avoid producing waste, not by purchasing, for example, single-use products.
3. Avoid hotels built on the beach
No to the ecomostri! Unfortunately, Italian beaches have been cemented and in some cases destroyed. Instead of staying in these structures it is always better to choose those that are eco-sustainable, even if a few steps further, which offer organic food, respect nature and green, which use bio-architecture and which are attentive to energy saving.
4. No plastic bottles
Do you know that at this rate in the oceans in 2050 there will be more plastic than fish? It is always important to avoid buying plastic bottles, and even more on the beach. You can bring comfortable flasks, from the most classic to the most modern.
5. Digital detox vacation on the beach
Why not give up electronic devices at least on the beach? Enjoy the beauty of the sea, the scent of saltiness and the company of friends or family.
6. Sand is not a souvenir
Even today we read of someone stopped at the airport with a bottle full of sand: a crime that seriously damages the environment, subtracting to places what nature has taken millennia to create. It may seem like a harmless gesture, but instead it is a serious damage to fragile ecosystems. Imagine if everyone did ...
7. A green lunch or snack
Seasonal and zero-kilometer fruit and vegetables, reusable containers, dishes and biodegradable cutlery: even lunch on the beach can be sustainable.
8. Which beach?
To be green, it is also important to choose the right beach, or rather the one that you can reach more easily by giving up the car and using the train or the bike!
9. We leave jellyfish and starfish at their sea
Someone will still remember the story of the dolphin pup that died of tourists looking for an original selfie. It is much more common to find jellyfish and starfish in children's pails, left in the sun. Rather than killing animals, teach the little ones respect for them and for all of nature.
10. A scholarship worth 10
Do you remember the classic family preparing to go to the beach with a thousand bags? We advise you not to buy a bag for every single need, especially evitan
